This painting is acrylic on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. It is 14"h x 11"w. The image was inspired by ancient cave art in the caves and canyons of the North American Southwest. I have taken some liberties with the image, but I have tried to stay true to the meaning. Kokopelli was one of the earliest spiritual images created in this ancient art.

If you don't understand it, you just don't get it and it's not a message to you. I have education in art (maybe too much or maybe not enough depending on who you ask) I have a BFA degree and a post graduate studies, but I think that the best education in painting is doing it and doing it with passion and enthusiasm and energy every day.
